On Wednesday, September 24th, we took another Day Ride, but we did it with a little twist.

Instead of riding our motorcycles, we rode our scooters. Both of our scooters are 250cc with a top speed of around 70mph and a comfortable cruising speed of 55mph. They have small 12 inch tires, sit quite tall (about 5 inches taller than our motorcycles) and they handle differently.

We called this Day Ride our Scooter Adventure Ride!

Jeff kicks off our ride with this short video:

The day was perfect with blue skies and cool enough for a jacket. Our first destination was Pigeon Forge to play putt putt golf.

We rode the scooters through Knoxville and took Sevier Avenue through Island Home.

Putt putt was a lot of fun! After our game we took Teaster Avenue through Pigeon Forge, then took 449 past Dollywood. We rode north into Sevierville and back to 66 where we took Allensville Road toward Douglas Lake.

We got turned around a couple of times but found some nice vistas!
