On Wednesday, November 11th, we took another Day Ride.
It was a beautiful day with blue skies and temperatures expected to warm into the mid 60’s. A perfect day for a ride.
Jeff kicks off our day in this short video:
We left home and took the back streets over to Magnolia.

We then headed north on 11E Asheville Highway. We rode to the 4 way, then took 25/70 which took us into Dandridge.

After enjoying the views, we headed to our lunch destination.

After lunch we took 139 south, a beautiful road that runs along Douglas Lake.

139 took us to 66 in Sevierville. We continued on into Pigeon Forge (and into heavy tourist traffic).
After putting along for a few miles we made it to Wears Valley Road (321). Wears Valley Road is a beautiful country road with many tourists and turns along the way.

From Walland, we traveled on into Maryville, down Alcoa Highway, back into Knoxville and then home.
Our ride was short today, only 105 miles, but you can see in our wrap up video our reasons for hurrying home. And those reasons are the two new additions to our family….
