FUN RUN

JULY 24, 2011

On Sunday, July 24th, we had a Fun Run that left Biker Rags at 1pm. The forecast was 60% rain and storms and so we were pleasantly surprised that we got such a good turnout. We started the run with 21 bikes.

From the store, we headed south on Pellissippi to Topside Road where we rode through Louisville then Friendsville. We got on 321, heading north toward Lenoir City, then taking 444 through Tellico Village and on to 72.

We went south on 72, then south on 322 where we rode to Sweetwater for gas and a cool drink. From there we continued on 322 through Paint Rock and on 58 to Kingston. From Kingston, we took 70 back to Knoxville and then back to Biker Rags.

We got back to the store around 4pm and enjoyed hot dogs and watermelon. The ride was right around 110 miles and we never got a drop of rain.

Jeff and I had a great time and we really appreciated everyone who rode with us. Since we own and operate the store, we cherish any chance to ride with the people who support us.
